Q: What is Madi's Re-mailing Service?

Chuck Grafft, the founder of The Foreign Buyers' Club (FBC), created this service for people away from their home country to get whatever they needed.

Madi's Re-mailing Service works on your behalf to arrange for your goods to be imported under the Personal Importing System. Think of it as the middleman for getting your items from wherever they are to wherever you are. As long as you can get it delivered to our location in Los Angeles, we'll take care of the rest and get it to your door. All for a great price!

Q: What's with the name?

Madi is the name of Chuck's youngest daughter. Growing up the youngest of four sisters, Madi was not only able to live with an endless supply of hand-me-downs, but also found a way to be incredibly helpful and caring to her family members in the process. Chuck felt it only fitting to name this service after his easygoing, always willing-to-help daughter.

Q: Is this the same company as The Foreign Buyers' Club (FBC)?

Technically, yes… although it's more of a sister company. Madi's Re-mailing Service operates out of Los Angeles in the United States and has the capability to ship all over the world. FBC only ships to Japan and operates from both LA and Kobe.

Q. How can I contact you?

Q: What are my payment options?

Payment can be made by either Credit Card or Debit Card only. Online payments are handled by Authorize.Net. 

Q: Can I give you my payment information any other way?

We prefer that you pay through the secure payment page on this site. However, it's also possible to send us your credit card details by fax, by arrangement. Please do not send any credit card information by email. It's never safe to do that.

Q: Are there any additional costs that I might be responsible for, such as import tax or duties?

Tax and Duty are charged at the port of entry by your country's Customs Department when your goods arrive. You will be responsible for paying these costs to the delivery company.

Q: How long will it take for me to receive my items after you receive them?

Once we have received all items that were ordered, we will consolidate and ship. It will take approximately 7-10 business days to arrive (some remote locations may take longer). Instead of waiting to consolidate items, we can also ship as soon as we receive, by request.

Q. Where's my stuff? Can I track my order?

When we ship your order, we will send a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number.

Q: Are there any size and weight restrictions?

Most things can be shipped, however please provide us with the approximate weight and dimensions whenever possible so we can give you an accurate quote. Larger items cost more to ship.

Q: Are there restrictions on what I can ship?

There are many items that no one can ship, such as weapons and drugs. There are also things, like those listed below, that people might think are okay but are restricted. For example:

  • Grains, plants, meats (even canned), anything that might carry bugs or parasites
  • Copied videos, CDs, DVDs, software etc.
  • Currency; bills, coins and even postage stamps
  • Frozen and perishable items
  • Certain medicines and medical items

Q: Can I use your service if I'm not purchasing from a vendor, but I just need something shipped to me?

Absolutely. If you have friends or family who want to send you something, Madi's Re-mailing Service operates the same way. Once the items are sent to our warehouse, we will process your order for delivery to you, in exactly the same way.

Q: What if there's a problem with my order?

Please let us know right away if you ever have any sort of problem with your order. While we mainly act as the middleman between you and your belongings, we want to make sure that we do our job completely and to your satisfaction. If we are ever responsible for any problems with your order, please let us know and we will do our best to make it right for you.
